Stage 1 · Intake
History, medications, what you want help with.
Four treatments, all within a licensed scope of practice.
Needles are sterile, single use and disposed of after every treatment — never reused, without exception. Minor bruising, soreness or brief dizziness can happen and we explain that beforehand rather than afterwards, along with the rare risks, as part of proper consent.
History, medications, what you want help with.
Within our scope, with honest limits.
Risks explained before any needle.
Single-use needles, then reviewed.
Every medication and supplement.
Checked, especially anticoagulants.
Prescribed, with what to expect.
Adjusted or stopped at follow-up.
Herbs are not inert. Several common formulas interact with anticoagulants, blood pressure medication and sedatives, so we review your full medication list first and will decline to prescribe where the risk is not worth it. Formulas are supplements, not approved drugs, and we claim no disease treatment for them.
Cupping leaves round discoloured marks and gua sha leaves red streaks, both of which last days and alarm people who were not warned. We explain that before treating, and we will not use these techniques where you have a bleeding disorder, take anticoagulants or have fragile skin.
Skin, medication and bleeding risk.
Marks shown and explained first.
To tolerance, not to intensity.
What is normal over the next days.
What is restricted and what hurts.
Including when to see a physician.
Within comfort, not beyond it.
What to do between visits.
Useful for people who want help but are genuinely afraid of needles — and that is a reasonable position rather than something to talk anyone out of. We will also say plainly when a complaint needs imaging or a physician instead of manual work.
A short call to talk through your situation, with an honest answer.
